This is a trademark created by the Province of Turin for the agricultural and food products of the province which, on the basis of technical-scientific testing:

  • are produced using traditional methods by local manufacturers;
  • are part of the local, historic tradition;
  • are produced using local ingredients;
  • constitute potential for development in the area.

The identification of the organoleptic, technological and historic characteristics is the starting point for production regulations drafted by the Associations of manufacturers of Consortiums, promoted by the Province of Turin, the Mountain Communities and the Boroughs of the province.
