GENEPI OCCITAN

Genepi is one of the most famous specialities of the Occitan valleys in the province of Turin. An excellent liqueur with tonic and digestive properties, it is made from several varieties of Artemisia growing above 1500 metres among the granitic rocks and the glacier moraine.

A demanding type of farming which helps to keep agriculture alive in the upper valleys and to strengthen the relationship between man and the mountain.
