Musicians
Eight musicians in the experimental field, who are recognised on an
international level, are working for “Eco e Narciso” on
five site-specific audio-installations in as many locations selected
from the ecomuseum network of the Provincia di Torino.
Between April and May 2006, for an average period of five days, the
artists will come into contact with the local set-up and will record
on site.
Afterwards, these recordings will be reelaborated, to be incorporated
into the audio-installation itself, which will be opened during the
official opening ceremony in July 2006. A meet & greet / presentation
will be held in April and May in Turin: it will cover the main stages
in the work of each musician by means of guided listening sessions and
a conversation with the supervisors of the project.
The results of the work of each musician besides being installed in
the ecomuseums between 17th July and 24th September 2006, will be collected
together in a cd/catalogue of the event.
