The tastes of the tradition and the territory of the Province of Turin are also in race in XX Olympic Winter Games Torino 2006: investing a million Euro, the Province of Turin obtained that its “Baskets” of agricultural products and typical and traditional foods became official supplier of Olympic Winter Games.

The Provincia di Torino and the Paralympic Athletes - old friends
For the Provincia di Torino, understanding and responding to the requirements of people with a disability is a tradition. This tradition was formalized in 2004 when we supported the organization of the finals of the Skiing World Cup for disabled athletes. During the summer of 2004, the Provincia di Torino took on a leading role in organizing the "Casa Torino" for the Paralympic Games in Athens.
